As you tackle challenges in life — whether in a job, sport, relationship or other endeavor – you often see that one element holds greater power and significance than others. Get that one thing right and other aspects fall into place more easily.

In a job, it might be building solid relationships with your team. In a relationship, it might be better communication. In an academic or athletic pursuit, perhaps it’s skills development.

Your Power Codes

Discovering the codes that are most influential in each area of your life is an advantage. It shortens the time needed to progress toward your chosen path because you recognize signs more quickly and respond more positively.

Your Dominant Success Code

Just as there are leaders within categories, there may be a leader across categories. As you created your Personal Semiotics assessments, you probably noticed that some areas held greater fascination than others. You also may feel that certain aspects of your life are more influential in determining your overall outcome.

For me, the most important area is my emotional health. When I keep my thoughts, ideas, energy and outlook moving in a positive direction, I gain confidence that career opportunities, financial health, relationships and other areas will prosper. Conversely, it doesn’t matter how solid my job, relationships, or physical or spiritual self is if I’m stressed emotionally. It will cause these areas to suffer, too. My energy will be down, my assessment of situations may be incorrect and my willingness to embrace new opportunities, challenges or relationships may be restrained.

When emotional health is your dominant life aspect, it is not only the key to your overall success, it can be the gatekeeper to spiritual guidance. When you are emotionally out of balance, you may not believe or remember that help and guidance are available.
